Jo is a hobbyist photographer who grew up in Minnesota watching pheasant and deer forage in the field next to her house, but at the time ‘getting out in nature’ meant weeding the garden or stacking wood for the stove.
It wasn’t until she was adult that she discovered the joys of hiking the Superior Hiking trail and camping under the stars... and how it fed her soul. As a parent, she and her husband embrace the outdoors by taking their daughter (and camera) on adventures across Minnesota and other states when possible.
She wants to contribute where she can to ensure her daughter and many generations to come can enjoy the outdoors as she has.
